1. About cloneaible

cloneaible is a consent-first platform for AI likeness licensing. People ("creators") choose to license their likeness — their face, their voice, or both — so that AI-generated content can be created from it, and businesses ("brands") license that content for approved commercial uses. Creators stay in control: they opt in to specific use categories, exclude what they don't want, set co-appearance preferences, and can adjust or revoke their permissions going forward.

These Terms govern your use of the cloneaible website and services. By using the site, creating an account, applying, or submitting a consent or likeness, you agree to them.

2. Beta service

cloneaible is in an early/beta phase. Features, pricing, and these Terms are still evolving and may change or be discontinued. The service is provided on a best-effort basis and may contain bugs or have limited availability. We may add, modify, or remove functionality at any time during beta.

3. Accounts & your responsibilities

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to enter a binding agreement and may only submit a likeness that is your own (or one you are clearly authorized to provide). Don't impersonate others, share another person's biometric data without authorization, or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

4. Creator licensing

When you license your likeness, you grant cloneaible a limited, revocable license to build and operate an AI likeness of you and to make it available for the use categories you opted into — and never for categories you excluded. You retain ownership of your underlying likeness. You may change your permitted categories, exclusions, and co-appearance choices, or revoke entirely; revocation takes effect going forward.

5. Brand use & acceptable use

Brands may generate and use content only within a creator's opted-in categories and must honor every creator's exclusions, co-appearance choices, and revocations. Across the platform, the following are prohibited:

• Deceptive, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading content, or content implying an endorsement that wasn't licensed.
• Unlawful content, or content that violates third-party rights or platform/advertising policies.
• Sensitive or excluded categories (for example political, alcohol, or other categories a creator has excluded) without separate, explicit licensing.
• Attempts to re-identify, extract, scrape, or misuse another person's biometric data.

6. Payments

Creators earn a share of revenue from licensed uses of their likeness; brand pricing is usage-based. Specific rates and payout details are set during onboarding and may change during beta. Nothing here is a guarantee of earnings.

7. Intellectual property

The cloneaible name, site, design, and software are owned by cloneaible and protected by intellectual-property laws; we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service as intended. Creators keep the rights to their own likeness. Brands receive a license to the content they generate, subject to the licensing creator's permissions and these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, cloneaible will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and legal review evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and continued use after changes means you accept them. Final, attorney-reviewed terms will be published before any binding agreement.
