Privacy Policy
Last updated June 24, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data cloneaible collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. cloneaible is a consent-first AI likeness licensing platform, so for creators this can include biometric data — photos of your face and recordings of your voice — which we only ever collect with your explicit consent (see section 3).
2. Account & application data we collect
When you create an account, apply, or contact us, we collect information you provide, including:
- Account info: name, email address, and phone number.
- Creator application/consent details: social handles, the likeness you license (face/voice/both), your opted-in use categories, excluded categories, and co-appearance preferences.
- Brand details: brand/company name and related application info.
- Basic technical data: IP address and limited usage information, used for security and to operate the service.
3. Biometric / likeness data (with consent)
For creators, we collect the likeness media you upload — facial photographs and voice recordings. This is biometric data and is treated as sensitive. We only collect it after you have given explicit consent and set your permissions, and we only use it to build and operate your AI likeness within the categories you opted into. Uploaded files are stored privately (see section 6), are never made available at a public URL, and are not used for any purpose you didn't consent to.
4. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the service — build licensed AI likenesses and match creators with brands.
- To generate licensed content within each creator's permitted use categories.
- For account communication and transactional messages (for example email verification, security, and service notices).
- To process earnings and payouts, and to maintain security and prevent abuse.
5. Third-party service providers
We share data with service providers only as needed to run cloneaible: a third-party email provider for transactional email such as account verification and service notices; a sign-in provider (Google) if you choose "Continue with Google", which shares your verified name and email with us; and AI voice/likeness processing providers that build a creator's clone from their captured data, strictly within that creator's consent. In each case we share the minimum needed; providers process it on our behalf and not for their own purposes. We may use other reputable processors (for example hosting) under similar terms as the service grows.
6. How we store and protect data
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Passwords are stored only as salted, hashed values — never in plaintext. Uploaded likeness files are stored outside the public web directory with restricted permissions and are accessible only to authorized administrators, never via a public link. Access to personal and biometric data is limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell your personal data or your biometric/likeness data. We share data only as needed to operate the service (for example, providing the service to a brand that licenses a creator's likeness within that creator's permissions, or with processors as described above) or where required by law.
8. Your rights & choices
You can access and update your account information, adjust or revoke your likeness permissions, and request a copy or deletion of your personal data and uploaded likeness media. To make a request, email support@cloneaible.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited records where required for legal or security reasons.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product and legal review evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
